This is a World War II memorial of the Allies landing on the beach. I'm standing near one of the troup transports. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure where this picture was taken -- I think it's somewhere along the Corniche de l'Estrel between Saint Tropez and Cannes.

This was taken at a beachside cafe in Roquebrune Cap Martin, a few miles from San Remo, Italy.
